Monrovia- A one-day information-sharing session was held on Wednesday at the National Elections Commission’s (9th Street, Sinkor) complex with members of the Elections Coordinating Committee (ECC). Elections Coordinating Committee requested the meeting. Monrovia-The Township of West Point in central Monrovia has received security devices worth over USD$3,000 from the legislative candidate running in Montserrado County’s electoral district number seven. Among the items Emmanuel Dahn offered were cellphones with touch lights, walking and talking devices, uniforms with battery chargers, and 50,000 Liberian dollars. Emmanuel Dahn stated the handsets, touch lights, and jackets were his way of helping to reduce criminal activity in the Township during the presenting event. Monrovia- In an effort to address its financial marginalization, the Ministry of Post and Telecommunication is reportedly in the midst of adding new postal items to its extensive list of offerings. The services to be implemented, according to Mike Gontehtuo, Deputy Minister for Operations at the Ministry of Post and Telecommunication, include postal financial services, e-commerce for the purpose of money transfers, mobile money transfers, salary and pension payments, or utility payments.
