Hundreds of Liberia-crossed border traders in Southeastern Liberia have launched a passionate plea for the government of Liberia to reopen border entry points in the region.  The Liberia Drugs Enforcement Agency is investigating four of its officers for allegedly making away with US$2,000 and other valuables belonging to a businesswoman in Johnsonville, Montserrado County. According to the LDEA, the officers are Jeremiah Nippy, Emmanuel Duo, Bill Slewro, and Emmanuel Payne were assigned in Johnsonville where they allegedly carried on the act. Grand Bassa County reports two new cases of COVID-19, as the Ministry of Health confirms 50 new cases of coronavirus right after the Christmas celebration in Liberia.
