Hundreds of Liberia-crossed border traders in Southeastern Liberia have launched a passionate plea for the government of Liberia to reopen border entry points in the region. Many of those making the calls are from Grand Gedeh County. The Liberia Drugs Enforcement Agency is investigating four of its officers for allegedly making away with US$2,000 and other valuables belonging to a businesswoman in Johnsonville, Montserrado County. According to the LDEA, the officers are Jeremiah Nippy, Emmanuel Duo, Bill Slewro, and Emmanuel Payne were assigned in Johnsonville where they allegedly carried on the act. The Executive Director of the Environmental Protection Agency of Liberia, Prof. Wilson Tarpeh has committed his institution to work along with the Federation of Liberia Youth in the fight against Climate Change.
