The University of Liberia students on Wednesday went on the rampage in Monrovia as a result of lecturers abandoning classes. It can be recalled that President Weah declared free tuition at the premium university after taking seat at the highest office of the land, promising to uplift the standard of the institution including its workers. The Management of the John F. Kennedy Medical Center says it has been challenged with the water supply at the Liberian-Japanese Friendship Maternity Hospital since Sunday, November 28, 2021. According to a release issued Wednesday, December 1, 2021, this is due to power fluctuation from the national grid that damaged the water pumps. The release further says efforts were made immediately to have the pumps replaced, but due to the public holiday, all vendors were closed.
