The government of Liberia has hailed Dr. Upjit Singh Sachdeva (Jeety Trading Corporation) for their humanitarian guesture and continuous support toward the Monrovia Central Prison (Salt Beach), the national prison facilitate in Monrovia. According to BBC Focus on Africa, FW de Klerk, the last white person to lead South Africa and a key figure in the transition to democracy, died of cancer at age 85. The 85 year old had been diagnosed with cancer earlier this year. Klerk attain to power in 1989 under apartheid, a system of legalized racism, but later became a key figure in the transition to democracy. The BBC Focus on Africa has reported that a Sierra Leonean student Jeremiah Thoronka has been awarded USD$100,000 for winning the 2021 Global Student Prize. Jeremiah Thoronka who invented a device that uses kinetic energy from traffic and pedestrians to generate clean power has emerged as winner of the $100,000 global student price after beating 3,500 nominees from 94 countries across the world. The Ministry of Education (MoE) has inform the general public that it has notice that some Public School Administrators are deliberately and intentionally undermining the good intention of the ministry’s by increasing the annual registration fees for public schools without regret.
