The West African Examination Council Liberia chapter has denied social media speculations that it has released the 2020/2021 West African Secondary School Exam results. WAEC described the claim as false malicious and devilish. The secretariat of WAEC said, the results for all examinations administered in 2021 have not been released and is therefore calling on the public not to give credence to such false information spread on social media. The Collaborating Political Parties says it believes the increase in criminal activities in Liberia is as a result of the unprecedented economic hardship and ever-increasing illegal drug trafficking and selling in the country.
