Monrovia, Liberia – The Liberia National Police (LNP) Administration has immediately suspended two of its officers for one month without pay for violating legal orders and abusing authority. The two suspended policemen are Patrolmen Teddy R. C. Boulner (ID# 6351) and Gabriel Flomo (ID# 6017), who are assigned to the Lofa County Detachment and Zone Five Base Police Station, respectively. Monrovia, Liberia – Following the government’s pledge to allow them to be reintegrated into society, the Liberian returnees protested last week over what they perceived as the LRRRC’s purported refusal to settle them. A 25 kilogram bag of rice, cooking oil, farming implements, and $300 USD are among the resettlement rewards given to each head of home. Fathers and single mothers received an additional 225 USD.
