Bomi County – Employees at the Mano Palm Oil Plantation in Bomi County staged a peaceful protest, calling on the plantation to settle its debt to them for 50 months in full. The workers, many of whom work as plantation laborers and harvesters, claimed they were exposed to unfavorable working conditions, low pay, and long hours work.
