    Barrolle To Meet IE in LBA Semi-finals; Bushord Bulls meets Pythons

    The Rollers of Mighty Barrolle have been paired against the Invincible Eleven (IE) in the semifinals of the 2022 National Basketball 1st division championship.

    The Yellow boys of IE are yet to pick a single win over their traditional rivals in this edition of the league losing all three matches in the first round and the big six categories.

    Their first encounter in the best of three semi-finals will take place at the SKD Gymnasium in Paynesville on Sunday, August 28, 2022, at 6 PM.
    Other fixtures will take place on the 4th and 10th of September at the same venue.

    At the same time, the Mighty Barrolle Sports Association on Saturday, 21 August staged a fundraising campaign at the SKD Sports Complex in Paynesville.

    The purpose of the program according to the Rollers was intended for them to reclaim their position in Liberian Football.

    The program which was marked by cultural dance saw huge attendance of supporters of the Kanyan Pepper boys in their dominant red and white.

    They first gathered at the Ellen Johnson Sirleaf-Ministerial Complex in Congo Town where they staged a grand parade to the SKD sports complex for an all-day Mighty Barrolle jamboree.

    During the Jamboree, Mighty Barrolle again defeated their traditional rivals, IE 3-2 in an Old-timers soccer match played at the SKD practice pitch.

    Meanwhile, NPA Pythons and Bushord Bulls will clash in the other semi-final of the National Basketball 1st division championship.

    Their first encounter will take place on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at the SKD basketball Gymnasium in Paynesville while other matches will come on the 4th and 11th of September 2022.

    In the 2nd division of the league, Royal Legends has been drawn against Barnesville Dragons while Highway Kings takes on Visioneers.

    In the female division, Invincible Eleven versus Vision Angels and defending champions, Commissioners will take on Desert Ladies.

    In the 3rd division, Spartacus versus Hoop Cares while Dreamers takes on Vision Shooters in the other semi.
