Business and Domestic Occupational Training Center (BDOTC) on Friday graduated 289 of its students particularly females at the program Marking the 16th graduation exercise in Paynesville.
Business and Domestic Occupational Training Center is one of the technical vocational Institutions run by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
Some of the courses thought at the Institution include front office management, housekeeping, beauty culture, cookery, food and Beverage, braiding and weaving, baking, tailoring, and event decoration.
Serving as keynote speaker at the program, Vice President, Chief, Dr. Jewel Howard Taylor, spoke on the theme: “The important of Vocational Education and skill training”, she encouraged graduates to not limit themselves to vocational education, but go out and acquire more knowledge in other fields.
According to Dr. Taylor, she wants to see women at the level of CEOs of businesses or at the pick of national leadership.
