GOMPA, NIMBA COUNTY – The competition for the LFA First Division title has been completely flipped. Fueled by the genius of Ralph Nuch Weah and the tactical skill of Ibrahim Cezayir, FC Bea Mountain took advantage of a historic LISCR FC meltdown to come within two points on the top during a weekend marked by a change in momentum.
FC Bea Mountain demonstrated at Gompa Stadium why they are the most clinical team in the league. The reigning champions, FC Fassell, were destroyed by one magical moment from Ralph Nuch Weah, Liberia’s breakthrough wonder boy.
With lightning-fast speed and veteran-level poise, the Tebeh Football Academy product showed why he is the league’s most feared attacker by scoring the game-winning goal. The 1-0 triumph was more than simply the goal; it was a touchline masterpiece in discipline.
Ibrahim Cezayir, a Turkish tactician, has turned the “Gold Boys” into an unbreakable stronghold since assuming control. The team is still undefeated in every competition under his leadership.
“Cezayir has instilled a winning mentality that has seen us become an unbeatable force,” noted team observers. His tactical setup in Nimba County stifled FC Fassell, further cementing his reputation as the premier strategist in the division.
League leaders LISCR FC were catastrophically thrashed 5-1 by Borough FC while Bea Mountain celebrated. After a recent loss against Heaven Eleven, the “Shipping Boys” looked lost and defeated for the second time in a row.
LISCR FC is still in first place, although the lead is now only two points. FC Bea Mountain, currently in second place, is on a winning streak. Kelvin Sebwe, the Pressure-Coach, is currently dealing with a team that is suffering from a humiliating goal difference swing and an irate fan base.
Officially, the tide is now in favor of Grand Cape Mount. The “Gold Boys” are well-positioned to take first place as LISCR FC’s lead is waning and their confidence has been shaken. If Cezayir maintains his perfect tactical record and Ralph Weah keeps up his scoring streak, we might be looking at the new favorites for the 2025–2026 championship.
