Bility urges Comprehensive National Overhaul

Says he will end corruption in Liberia if elected as President in 2029

Monrovia, Liberia – Musa Hassan Bility has launched a wide plea for political rebirth, calling Liberians to embrace citizen-led change and disassociate with what he described as decades of unfulfilled promises. Bility, the head of the Citizen campaign for Change (CMC), positioned his campaign as a grassroots alternative centered on practical action while criticizing previous governments for failing to reduce corruption, generate jobs, and rebuild basic infrastructure.

Bility stated, “We have witnessed our beloved Liberia suffer for far too long,” citing pervasive corruption, unemployment among recent graduates, inadequate health care, and failing roads that limit farmers’ access to markets.

“The Unity Party was what we were waiting for. They failed to deliver. Before them, we waited for the CDC. They also let us down. We have exercised patience. We’ve been optimistic. We’ve been let down.”

If given the chance to rule, Bility promised that the CMC would prioritize combating corruption while concentrating on creating jobs to restore citizens’ economic potential and sense of dignity. He underlined that the party’s development program would place a strong emphasis on employment and fundamental social services.

Bility highlighted the CMC’s early achievements, citing community-based assistance programs and infrastructural upgrades in regions where the movement has an impact. These initiatives, he claimed, show the party’s dedication to workable answers as opposed to political rhetoric.

In terms of the future, Bility presented plans for 2026 that included building bridges and other important infrastructure projects in underdeveloped counties. He positioned the CMC as a tool for national rejuvenation and said that the year may be a turning point for Liberia. According to Bility, the movement seeks to guide Liberia toward a more prosperous and responsible future based on development, openness, and the realization of long-standing commitments made to the Liberian people.
