Monrovia, Liberia – The needs of vulnerable teenagers and orphan children at Madam Victoria Orphan Home in Careysbury, outside of Monrovia, have been promptly addressed by the Kyne Hands Foundation (KHF) in collaboration with the Christian organization Carriers of the Cross Ministers Mission (CCMM), which is based in the United States.
Through its Child Care Protection components project, CCMM distributed and donated child care and protection items, such as rice, clothing, vegetables, oil, and other necessary materials, to the KHF on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, through its presiding prelate, Pastor Allison Teddei, and an American entourage. The items were then delivered to Madam Victoria Orphan Home.
With the mission of providing health, education, and protection for vulnerable children, particularly women and girls, Kyne Hands Foundation is a non-governmental humanitarian organization situated at Bend & Stop, Kebbah Road, Bardnersville, Monrovia, Liberia. “Small Changes Lead To Lasting Impact” is a philosophy that KHF firmly believes in.
The organization’s Childcare and Protection divisions work to prevent and save children from maltreatment and neglect. On the other hand, the Child in School Project seeks to address and provide children with food, nutrition, and shelter.
Improving physical living conditions is the goal of the psycho-social wellness component, whereas education Child Project offers uniforms, shoes, book bags, and books in addition to paying school tuition for early childhood and elementary education.
The Health Her Up Project seeks to treat the health of undernourished children, assist with medication payments, and empower families economically.
Pastor Allison Teddei, the CCMM’s presiding bishop, made the donation and said that they are thrilled to be in Liberia. He also thanked the group for the work and impact they have achieved locally. She reported that after being contacted by the founder of KHF, they had a deep-seated desire to travel to Liberia and provide food, clothing, and other necessities to the Victoria Orphan Home in Careysbury.
“Let me take this opportunity to introduce myself and the work that the CCMM is doing. We are an international ministry, and our goal is to make a lasting difference by relieving people of burdensome situations. As God leads us, we travel to other nations to share, give, and be inspired by others’ sacrifices, doing our part to better society and humanity.”
According to her, “we have come to serve and contribute in order to demonstrate our love and gratitude for everything that God has done for us.”
Receiving the donation and providing a brief overview of KHF, Mr. Varney Ali Sheriff Country Manager expressed appreciation and gratitude to the Christian Community through CCMM for the donation and support to the vulnerable children.
He claimed that the organization was founded as a result of the trauma and experiences that their founder and executive director had during the Liberian Civil War. She believes that these issues still affect children today, particularly women and girls, so she has chosen to address some of the problems that they face.
“On behalf of the KHF, I would like to thank the CCMM for their donation to us and the children,” as Mr. Tamba noted that they witnessed the Liberian Civil War personally. “Seeing you all travel from the United States to serve and benefit humanity makes us very happy. We are delighted to collaborate and associate with you all. We want to express our sincere gratitude to Pastor Allison and your team for coming here because God touched your hearts,” he said.
According to him, their programs influenced Nimba, Margibi, Bong, Montserrado and Gbarpolu County, emphasizing that their concentration is currently on Montserrado County because they are working to finish their main office.
However, Mr. Sheriff encouraged the relationship to continue, pointing out that KHF is trying to close many gaps and that their cooperation and donations will enable them to make the small adjustments necessary to have a long-lasting effect.
