Chief Justice Proposes Erecting New Supreme Court structures and Judicial Complexes throughout Liberia

AS SHE MAKES AVAILABLE FIVE YEARS STRATEGIC PLAN

Monrovia, Liberia – In an effort to reposition the judiciary, Chief Justice Sie-A-Nyene Yuoh has unveiled a five-year strategic plan. Chief Justice Yuoh addressed the three main issues facing the judiciary as poor infrastructure, low human capability, and insufficient budgetary allocation during the project’s official debut.

Justice Yuoh claimed that when she took over as head of the judiciary in 2022, she developed a plan to solve the court’s structural flaws.

She mentioned the establishment of twenty magistrate courts, including the refurbishment of three sexual offenses courts spread over three counties, as well as the creation of a new Supreme Court building and judicial complexes across the nation.
