OFFERS TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES FOR LIBERIAN HEALTH PROFESSIONAL
Monrovia, Liberia – The Chinese Embassy’s First Secretary, Mr. Gou Fei, and Economic and Commercial Chancellor, Mr. Wang Jiaxin, paid a courtesy visit to Dr. Louise M. Kpoto, Liberia Minister of Health, at the Ministry’s head office in Congo Town, Paynesville, on Tuesday, April 9, 2024.
The Economic and Commercial Counselor, Mr. Wang Jiaxin, expressed gratitude to Liberia for the One-China policy. He expressed China’s continue relationship with Liberia. Through these diplomatic ties, China’s government continues to assist the people of Liberia in strengthening the government’s sectors in order to create a better society.
Health professionals are anticipated to benefits from capacity-building programs courses in China as part of their commitment.
The public health courses will be provided in Beijing and Guzon, with the first group of medical professionals scheduled to depart on Monday, April 15, 2024, to commence their training.
A three-week Maternity Emergencies course in China was extended to ten Liberian doctors and nurses by the Chinese Chancellor on behalf of the Embassy.
