Liberia’s Health Minister Dr. Wilhelmina Jallah has reechoed the increase in the number of Coronavirus cases in Liberia days after the Christmas and New Year celebration.
Speaking to a team of journalists at the Ministry of information on Thursday Dr. Jallah attributed the increase in coronavirus to cases across the country to citizens’ refusal to follow the prescribed health protocols.
Minister Jallah alleged that many citizens have refused to observe all the health measures put in place by the government through the Ministry of health including the wearing of masks, social distancing, washing of hands.
According to her before and after the Christmas and New Year celebration, Liberia recorded over eight hundred of coronavirus cases with Montserrado reporting 643 cases.
