Monrovia, Liberia – Former Chief Justice, Cllr. Gloria Musu Scott and three other family members have been charged with murder, criminal conspiracy, and making false statements to law enforcement officers by the Liberia National Police in connection with the murder case of Charloe Musu.
The Three family members charged along with Cllr. Scott are Rebecca Youdeh Wisner, Gertrude Newton, and Alice Johnson.
However, the family of the accused has strongly objected to these charges and insists that Scott is innocent.
The son to Cllr. Scott has stated his intention to sue popular talk show host Abraham Wheon of Freedom FM for repeatedly making baseless accusations against his mother.
It is reported that upon police charges, supporters and family members stump the police headquarters with a protest.
