AS GOV’T TWELFTH WITNESS DISPLACED CHARLOE’S REMAIN IN OPN COURT

Capitol Hill, Monrovia – Monday, October 30, 2023, at Criminal Court ‘A’ was a tearful scene as the late Charloe Musu’s remains were moved in front of the court during the legal trial. Cllr. Scott and three other family members are being trialed for murder, criminal conspiracy, and making false reports to law enforcement officials. They broke down in tears when the prosecution’s twelfth witness testified and displaced the body of Charloe Musu in the ongoing murder trial.

On Monday, October 30, 2023, Dr. Benedict Kolee, the twelfth witness for the prosecution, took the witness stand to provide his professional judgment regarding the autopsy performed on the deceased Musu. The chief pathologist of Liberia, during his testimony, displayed a graphic photo containing separate parts of Charloe while explaining the autopsy reports.

The graphic scene left the defendants in tears, with some lawyers and jurors screaming above their voices. It took almost fifteen to twenty minutes for the judge to bring total calm to the court and continue the trial. Even among the crowd, people could not hold back their tears, but that could not stop the testimony of Dr. Kolee.

Dr. Kolee’s statement continued despite the inability of many in the crowd to contain their tears.
