CR7 becomes football’s first-ever BILLIONAIRE

Monrovia, Liberia – As the first-ever BILLIONAIRE in football, Cristiano Ronaldo has made history. The 40-year-old Portugal icon has signed an incredible new contract in Saudi Arabia and joined the Three Comma Club.

Ronaldo signed a record-breaking £173 million contract with Al-Nassr in 2023 after leaving Manchester United. After reaching the last phases of his contract, the veteran was then connected to a move new location.

Ronaldo, however, ultimately agreed to new agreements with his Middle Eastern team on even larger salaries. Over the next two years, CR7 is now expected to bank an incredible £492 million, according to Bloomberg.

As a result, he is now the first football player in history to reach £1.045 billion in net worth. As a result, he has avoided competitor Lionel Messi, who is less wealthy than Ronaldo at £620 million.

However, Bloomberg notes that the Argentina World Cup champion may eventually catch up since, upon retirement, he will be able to purchase a large part in MLS team Inter Miami.

Ronaldo’s career of lucrative contracts with teams like United, Real Madrid, and Juventus has contributed to his wealth. However, the legend also has a lot of amazing business transactions off the field.

Over the years, Ronaldo has collaborated with brands like Nike, Armani, Herbalife, and Tag Heuer. In addition, he has agreements with Panini, DAZN, LiveScore, and Clear Shampoo. He was previously associated with KFC.

Ronaldo also keeps promoting his worldwide CR7 brand, which sells clothing, lingerie, and perfumes. This indicates that Ronaldo is far ahead of his competitors in terms of net worth, with Messi trailing by £400 million.

The Barcelona great, however, is unquestionably in second place, with Neymar, his closest rival, having the third-largest net worth at £280 million.

Fourth-place Kylian Mbappe has a net worth of £186 million, but the gap is still wide. Karim Benzema rounds out the top five with £150 million in the bank.

The top 10 also includes Robert Lewandowski, Mohamed Salah, Antoine Griezmann, Paul Pogba, and Son Heung-Min. However, aces like Riyad Mahrez and Erling Haaland are not far behind.
