CITING COSTA LATEST REVELATION
Paynesville, Liberia – The recent revelation made by talk show host Henry Costa and executive member of the All Liberian Party, according to Alexander Cummings, was the result of a plot against him by members of the Collaborating Political Parties of Senators Nyonblee Karnga Lawrence of the Liberty Party, Benoni Urey of the All Liberian Party, and the ex-vice president of Liberia and standard bearer of Unity Party, Amb. Joseph N. Boakai.
The leader of the Collaborating Political Parties, Alexander Cummings, asserted that the All Liberian Party’s most recent allegations, made through Henry Costa, have exposed the plot that other CPP members had hatched against him.
Mr. Cummings stated that going through a protracted legal battle with the ALP and Unity Party cost him a lot of time, money, and energy, noting that, enduring such circumstances was just a part of life.
The CPP Leader continued said, Mr. Costa claim that the Unity Party ordered the ALP to file a lawsuit against him for actions he didn’t conduct gave the Liberian people a clear understanding of the real situation.
Cummings stressed the urgent need for new leadership and a different perspective, as well as for political stability, the development of infrastructure, economic prosperity, and social reconciliation, among other.
On Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at the Samuel Karyon Doe Sports Complex in Paynesville, the CPP Political Leader spoke to the media after filing all the required paperwork to nominate himself as a presidential candidate in the 2023 elections. He emphasized the crucial requirement for capable leadership with a new viewpoint to promote unity, fight corruption, and maintain accountability and openness in Liberia’s democratic system.
He contends that for the economy to recover and expand, political stability, the restoration of the rule of law, and a powerful and independent judiciary are essential. He added that roads, energy, technology, and sanitation, infrastructure development are essential to attracting direct foreign investment and trade possibilities required for job creation and increased access to fundamental social services. And lessen reliance on the extractive sector, economic diversification, private sector expansion, and value addition.
The Presidential candidate emphasized the importance of tailoring the solutions to Liberia’s specific needs and seeking international collaboration for sustainable development and recovery. He expressed the readiness of Liberians for real change and hoped for cooperation from friends and partners in achieving this goal. Mr. Cummings made the statement at the National Elections Commission- NEC Candidates Registration exercise in Paynesville.
