The owner of Henry Crusoe farm in Kokoya Bong County Elijah Crusoe has accused Liberia’s Solicitor General Syrenus Cephus of protecting a man identified as Emmanuel Crusoe from being prosecuted for allegedly burning two rice kitchens in the area.
It can be recalled on March 16, 2020, unknown men were allegedly ordered by Emmanuel Crusoe to burn down two rice kitchens containing Rice seeds, one bag of bennies seeds corn amongst others.
According to Elijah Crusoe after burning the two rice kitchens which contain several seeds valued at two hundred and ninety thousand United States dollars, the matter was immediately taken to a nearby police station and a magisterial court in the area.
He narrated that after burning down the two rice kitchens the solicitor General has since refused to send prosecutors to have Emmanuel Crusoe prosecuted.
Elijah Crusoe further stated that his brother Emmanuel Crusoe has threatened to kill workers on the farm and there is a need for the government of Liberia to timely intervene.
Meanwhile, when contacted, Cllr Syrenus Cephus told Elijah Crusoe to go to heal.
Also when Reportes231 contacted Emmanuel Crusoe who is accused of burning down the farm, he denied the allegation stating the case is in the Court as such he cannot make further comment.
