Emmanuel Surprise Whea, Solomon O. “With the power in me invested as Chairperson of the Liberia Kickball Federation 2022 elections, I hereby present to you the candidates elected. I want to take this time to appreciate every one of you for the process, Mr. Jimmy maintained”.

According to him, the Liberia kickball federation never had an Article of Incorporation and official Business Registry, but he managed to settle it in his first tenure.

Mr. Whea at the same time said the federation can now boost of a website to read related kickball activities, an office, decentralization of the federation, life after kickball, improvement of the league, hosting of awards after every league, sponsors for LKF league and the Knockout Cup.

The Liberia Kickball Federation President, however, mentioned that when he took over for the first time, the cash price award was eight thousand Liberian dollars (8000), but he increased it to18, 000 LD.

He said 1st division champion for the 2022 league season will now walk away with one hundred thousand Liberian dollars (100, 000LRD) because of the one-year sponsorship with Security Expect Guard Service of Liberia (SEGAL) while runners will receive fifty thousand Liberian dollars (50,000LD). League two winner will take home fifty thousand Liberian dollars (50,000LD) and the runners-up will get twenty-five thousand Liberian dollars as a reward.

Mr. Whea added that due to the coming in of Youth and Sports Minister, D. Zeogar Wilson to sponsor the Knockout Cup, he can assure seventy-five thousand Liberian dollars (75,000LD) for the winner of the competition while thirty-five thousand Liberian dollars (35,000LD) will be given to runners.

” These are a few things I can name to you now that we managed to achieve as a team in the last four years. Today LKF has several Sub-associations and Sub-committees due to the decentralization that was put in place by the leadership”.

“Life, after kickball has produced its first graduate in the person of Aline Koffa, kickball world best from the BDOTC and several others, are also benefiting from the process, LKF President said”.
