    Episcopalians in New Jersey -USA donates huge consignments equipment Wheel-Chairs and Food Items to Group of 77th in Monrovia.

    Monrovia, Liberia – A Liberian-born clergy resident in the United States, along with the parishioners of St. James and St. Michael’s Episcopal parishes in the Diocese of New Jersey, on Tuesday, March 12, 2025 donated consignments of Wheel-Chairs equipment and food items to the group of 77th in Central Monrovia.

    Speaking during the presentation, Rev. Canon Dr. James T. Yarsiah, Priest -in-Charge said, the value of the donations is estimated at $20,000 US Dollars, with shipping costs amounting to $6,221, and $1966 as expenses for clearance and transportation costs in Liberia.
    According to him, the current shipment brings to ten the total number of Shipp containers from the USA to Liberia since the establishment of the Global Outreach Ministry in 2006.

    Rev. Yarsiah use the occasion to inform the public that the initiative is Global Outreach Ministry way of giving back to the church and country to share the love of Christ in obedience to the Great Commission as recorded in Matthew 28:19-20 (Go ye into all the world and make disciples).

    Adding that the materials is been distracted across Montserrado county; Church materials, theological books, clergy and lay vestments, choir and acolyte robes, used Prayer Books, Hymnals, two pianos, several boxes of science and math textbooks, school supplies, medical supplies and equipment, rice, beans, and vegetable oil, used clothes, shoes, educational games, toys, and basketballs. Others include wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, bedside toilets, and several items to benefit the physically challenged.

    Beneficiaries include the bishop and clergy of the Episcopal Church of Liberia, Episcopal and non-Episcopal churches and schools, residents of a Leopard colony near Cottington University’s main campus, the Group of 77, the Solution Prayer Ministry, Help and Care Ministry – WEZZ Charity Foundation, clinics, and several institutions throughout Liberia.

    In a joyous mood, the Administrator for the Group of 77th Raymond Zarbay, thanked the St. Michael’s Episcopal parishes described the gesture as timely and important donation. The group of 77th Administrator highlighted some of the challenges the entity is faced with; promise that the essential and assorted items donated will be use wisely by the targeted beneficiaries.
