Monrovia, Liberia – Three clubs, FC Fassell, Black Man Warrior, and Determine Girls FC
have received formal certification from the Liberia Football Association’s (LFA) First Instant Board to compete in the 2025–2026 CAF Inter-Club Competitions. The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has yet to assess and approve this accreditation.
The Board, presided over by Cllr. Jacob K. Dayrell, Sr., verified after a thorough evaluation procedure that all three clubs had fulfilled the minimal standards listed in the CAF Online Platform, making them eligible to compete on the continental level.
In view of these conclusions, the First Instant Board has publicly recommended that licenses are granted to the clubs in order to guarantee that they represent Liberia in their respective CAF tournaments.
FC Fassell will compete in the CAF Champions League as the winners of the LFA First Division League. Black Man Warrior, the winners of the LFA Orange Cup, will compete in the CAF Confederation Cup. Determine Girls FC, who won the LFA Women’s Upper League, will compete in the CAF Women’s Champions League qualifications.
This accomplishment is a major step in Liberia’s continuous attempts to improve the caliber and prominence of its domestic football on the continent.
