Monrovia, Liberia – Following Lone Star’s 3-0 defeat to Morocco on Tuesday, several football lovers took to social media to express their frustration about the performance of the team under Coach Ansumana Keita. Some of them stated that the lack of prospects on the squad is attributable to the inexperienced coach’s poor technical reading and that this lack of reading brands him as inexperienced.
Others, however, have urged for his quick dismissal in order to avoid further embarrassment before the World Cup qualifiers, which will begin in November of the following month. Ansumana Keita, meanwhile, has statistically proven to be the poorest coach that Liberia has produced in recent years.
Since taking over from the British Peter James Butler, he has participated in five matches and finished with a record of one draw, four losses, four goals scored, and 12 goals allowed. In his role as interim coach, he led his team to a victory over Senegal by a score of 2-1 away from their home field in a CHAN qualifying match, however they had previously been defeated at home by a score of 3-0.
The following is a list of matches that Ansumana Keita manages
