Monrovia, Liberia – A group at the National Port Authority (NPA) called “United NPA Workers To Promote Good Management” has praised the port’s managing director for encouraging good governance among staff members.
Speaking in Monrovia on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, the group chairperson Tracy W. Kpehe stated that the institution has undergone a significant and enjoyable facelift since Director Dukuly was hired.
She listed some of the accomplishments under the direction of the NPA Managing Director, including the regularization of irregular benefits for staff members, which she said has greatly reassured them.
Director Dukuly, she said, also renovated the port-only clinic, which had been closed for years.
Madam Kpehe stated that the local travel policy which was cut across all staff has been reactivated.
The Chairperson of the group explained that the NPA boss facilitated twenty-five employees to China for a basic and technical training in sea port operation and other related discipline.
However, she said Director Dukuly also recognized and empowered women in Maritime at the port and a procurement of new brand vehicles to be used for the effective operations of NPA especially outstanding ports.
Madam Kpehe said the biometric and equipment of various offices with basic up to date corporate demand have been reactivated.
