Foreign Minister Kemayah Praises Egyptian Ambassador to Liberia for Support

Monrovia, Release-The Egyptian ambassador to Liberia, Mr. Ahmed EL-Sayed Helal, has received praise from the country’s foreign minister, Amb. Dee-Maxwell Saah Kemayah, Sr., for his significant efforts to improve the bilateral ties between the two nations. Foreign Minister Kemayah thanked Ambassador EL-Sayed Helal for contributing significantly to the efficient operation of the Egyptian Scholarship program in Liberia, which provides students with the chance to pursue higher education in Egypt.

On Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at his Foreign Ministry Office on Capitol Hill, Minister Kemayah made the claim when Ambassador EL-Sayed Helal paid him a courtesy call. The good bilateral ties between Egypt and Liberia, according to Minister Kemayah, are being further solidified by the government of Liberia, led by President Weah. Amb. Kemayah also urged the Egyptian Ambassador to keep pleading on Liberia’s behalf for Egyptian companies to look into investment prospects in the mining, agriculture, energy, and other sectors.

Speaking earlier, Egyptian Ambassador EL-Sayed Helal extended his sincere gratitude to Minister Kemayah and the Liberian government for their continued warm welcome and good collaboration aimed at fostering the friendly relations of friendship between the two sisterly nations. Ambassador EL-Sayed Helal declared his adoration and love for the Liberian people, saying “I will work to further cement the bilateral relations between Liberia and Egypt”.
