Former President Weah Vows to Contest 2029 Presidency if………

Monrovia, Liberia – Former President Weah has promised to run for office again in 2029 if the people of Liberia urge him to. Simultaneously, the outgoing president charged President Joseph Boakai with disobeying the law.

He said it is unfortunate that the UP government, which took office with the intention of saving the nation, is accused of displacing regular Liberians from their positions.

He denounced President Boikai for associating with those he called “gangsters,” claiming that the people of Liberia are not scared of them.

In less than six months under the Boakai administration, he said Liberians are going through a lot.

He claimed that a number of laws are being broken, starting with tenure posts, and believes that the President is conducting a witch hunt.
