The Principal of the Gaye Town Elementary and Jr. High school has welcomed the establishment of the technical vocational training institute and the first modern Public High school on the Old Road.
According to Mad. Josephine Barclay the vocational training Institute when established, will aid the Youthful population in District #10 in Montserrado County. She noted that there are more youth and young adults residing in the District who are eager to acquire technical vocational training.
“I was glad when I heard that the MCSS boss is about to construct a technical vocational training center and a public High school in the District” she narrated.
Madam Josephine Barclay extends special thanks and appreciation to the Superintendent of the Monrovia Consolidated School System (MCSS) Mr. Isaac Saye-Lakpoh Zarwolo for his response to solving the issues. She said since he took over as head of MCSS there have been massive transformations at some of the MCSS Institutions in Monrovia.
Mad. Josephine disclosed that the fencing of the A. Glenn Tubman Elementary and Jr. high school, the painting of the MCSS head office on 12th Street Sinkor, plans to transform Boatswain Jr. High to a High school, and renovation work currently ongoing at the William V.S. Tubman High School clearly demonstrates that he is a developmentally oriented individual.
She cautioned residents of the District particularly women to take advantage of the technical vocational training center when established.
