A prominent son of Sinoe County Geeplay Nyenswah is calling on the George Weah administration to find an amicable solution to long-standing land disputes between the people of River Cess and Sinoe.
It can be recalled for over four years there has been a land dispute between the resident of Getroh in Sinoe County and people living in the ITI community of River-Cess County.
Appearing on the Thursday edition of the OK Morning Rush, Geeplay Nyenswah said the CDC-led government through the ministry of internal affairs must swiftly intervene to bring to an end the land conflict that currently exists amongst citizens of the two counties.
According to Mr. Nyenswah, the land matter should not be ignored instead action must be taken to resolve land conflict adding, land dispute has the propensity of creating chaos as such it is important for the government to timely resolve the matter.
He predicts that if the matter is not properly handled by this current regime there is a likelihood of citizens going on the rampage to fight for their land.
