Margibi County – ArcelorMittal Liberia (AML) has received praise from the government of Liberia through Hassan Zuannah Fahnbulleh, the Ministry of Public Works’ resident engineer in Margibi, for the significant improvements achieved in the county’s 28-kilometer road repair project. It is a road in Harbel Hills that runs between Kakata and the Firestone workers club.
After a joint inspection of the project, Engineer Fahnbulleh spoke over the weekend and called the work “commendable,” asking authorities and regular road users to recognize the company’s significant contribution to the area’s infrastructure development.

On Saturday, a group of ArcelorMittal Liberia engineers led by Road Rehabilitation Project Specialist Bisko Tomislav carried out the road project’s last inspection. An important stage toward the project’s completion. The restoration work is almost finished, according to Roland Gbartea, ArcelorMittal Liberia Road Coordinator, with just a few minor adjustments needed before the road is formally turned over.

Under a contract worth more than US$500,000, the project is being carried out by the Liberian-owned construction company Frebenja Group of Companies. The initiative forms part of ArcelorMittal Liberia’s broader commitment to supporting national infrastructure and improving access in communities beyond its operational areas.
