Grand Bassa County report two new cases of COVID-19

Grand Bassa County reports two new cases of COVID-19, as the Ministry of Health confirms 50 new cases of coronavirus right after the Christmas celebration in Liberia. The county health officer, Dr. Sylvester Weah told reporters the two patients who came down with the virus are currently seeking medical treatment in Monrovia.

According to him, both individuals were texted positive for COVID-19 on Sunday, December 26, 2021. A source within the Ministry of Health told reports 231 on Monday, December 27, 2021, that as of Sunday, the Ministry has confirmed fifty new cases of the coronavirus but could not state whether those cases are related to the omicron variant.
