Liberia’s female under 17 national team has bid farewell to the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifiers following a 7-1 defeat to Guinea under 17 in the return fixture on Sunday at the Lassana Conte Stadium in Conakry.
The first leg drew 2-2 at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium in Monrovia which means, Guinea qualified on 9-3 aggregate.
According to the pairing, Guinea will now take on Ghana for the third round of qualifiers.
Ghana defeated Senegal 3-0 at home to secure her slot in the next round of qualifiers with a 4-0 aggregate winner.
They won the first leg 1-0 in Senegal in the first leg followed by a 3-0 home win.
