Human Rights Ambassador Adama Dempster participated in Global Gathering of Solidarity for Frontline Human Rights Defenders in Ireland

Monrovia, Liberia – Adama Dempster, the ambassador for human rights, participated in the just ended Global Gathering of Solidarity for Frontline Human Rights Defenders in Ireland. This crucial forum brought together eminent leaders and human rights activists to discuss pressing human rights concerns and strengthen the bonds amongst defenders throughout the globe.

Seán Fleming, Ireland’s Minister of State in the Department of Foreign Affairs; Michael O’Flaherty, the Council of Europe’s Commissioner for Human Rights; Mary Lawlor, the UN Special Rapporteur on Human Rights Defenders; and Volker Türk, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, were among the distinguished speakers at the event. The occasion emphasized the dedication and teamwork necessary to preserve human rights and raise the voices of defenders throughout the world.

Sincere appreciation for the commitment, selflessness, and steadfast work of all human rights advocates in establishing a just world was also high on the aganda.
