The organizers of the Intra-governmental tournament have set April 6, 2022 as the official kick off of the tournament, while the group stage draw will take place on this Friday at the SKD Sports Complex in Paynesville.
Intra-governmental tournament is an annual sports event that is organized by the Government of Liberia-through the Ministry of Youth and Sports for all government ministries and agencies.
This year’s edition of the tournament will feature four sporting categories to include: football, volleyball, kickball and basketball.
According to the Ministry of Youth and Sports, there is no age limit set to play in this edition, but all players should be employees of their respective institutions and players should also be active for two years for those who have played at the higher level.
MYS says this year competition is under the theme: “Celebrating 200 years in keeping the fitness of one culture and heritage through sports”.
