Joseph Boakai name Senator Karnga-Lawrence as 2023 National Campaign Chairperson

Robert Field, Margibi – Former Vice President and Standard Bearer of major opposition Unity Party, Amb. Joseph Nyumah Boakai has named his Campaign team to manage electoral affairs ahead of the October 10, 2023, Presidential and Legislative elections.

Amb. Boakai made the pronouncement at Senator Nyonblee Kangar-Lawrence of Grand Bassa County’s 55th birthday at a fundraiser dinner held at the Farmington Hotel in Margibi County.

The UP Standard Bearer emphasized the need to save the nation; ”Liberia is at a crucial crossroads, thus we must act in the nation’s and its citizens’ best interests. The international community and other development partners must see this nation as valued.”

Those appointed for the rescue mission by the UP Standard Bearer include:

  6. Senator Prince K. Moye, National Campaign Manager
  7. Mo Ali, Campaign Spokesman
  8. Hon. Armah Jallah, Member
  9. Hon. Sando Jackson Member
  10. Senator Gboto Kanneh, Member
  11. Senator Abraham Darius Dillon Member and Chair of Montserrado campaign committee
  12. Cllr. Cooper Krauh, Member
  13. Veteran Alarick Tokpa, Advisor on Political Affairs

The Unity Party Standard Bearer used the occasion to inform the public that Other committee members will be announced at a subsequent time.

Nyonblee Karnga-Lawrence, the National Campaign Chairperson and Senator for Grand Bassa County praised Ambassador Joseph Nyumah Boakai for the appointment and praised the team, calling them a great team. She also pledged to deliver a one-round victory.
