Cece United has moved to the top of the Orange 2nd division national league following a 2-0 victory over relegation-threatened Life FC on Wednesday at the ATS in Monrovia.
Robert Hney 43rd minute goal and Francis Doe late strike earned them a deserved three points to leaf logged the Church boys of Jubilee from the top of the table.
Cece United has accumulated 43 points from 20 league matches, while Jubilee FC who was beaten 2-0 by Mighty Blue Angels at the Technical Center in Caresburg has 41 points from the same number of matches played.
Muscat FC was the biggest winner on Wednesday when they walloped Bong Rangers 5-0 at the SKD practice pitch in Paynesville in the early kick-off while 3rd place Tony FC and Small Town FC settled to a 3-3 draw at the same venue.
The Royal Boys of Junior Professionals and NPA Anchors both got 3-2 wins over Pags FC and Garnerville FC at the Tusa field.
There were also wins for Gantal Almighty against rivals, Nimba FC at the Gompa sports center on Wednesday.
