Julius Maada Bio re-elected

WITH OVER 1 MILLION VOTES (56.17 %)

Bintumani, Free Town – Julius Maada Bio, has been named the victor of Sierra Leone’s presidential election, but the opposition is contesting the outcome.

According to official statistics, Mr. Bio received over 1 million votes amounting to 56% of the vote, leaving Samura Kamara, his biggest rival, far behind.

A live feed from the commissions center certified that incumbent Julius Maada Bio has been re-elected as president of the British-Africa, Sierra Leone.
