Kemayah Elected Political Leader of MOVEE

The Movement for Economic Empowerment’s (MOVEE) recently elected political leader has committed to carry out the instructions provided to him by party convention delegates. At the conclusion of the MOVEE national convention, the party’s supporters elected Mr. Dee Maxwell Kemayah as their political leader, giving him the authority to guide the party in a new direction during the 2023 presidential and parliamentary elections.

Dee Maxwell Kameyah, who is also Liberia’s Foreign Minister, announced the party will not support candidates to run for president in the 2023 elections after he formally acknowledged the decision of the MOVEE delegates’ mandate. He claims that the party can provide candidates to run for representative and senate positions across the nation. Mr. Kemayah praised party members and previous leaders for their significant contributions to maintaining the party over the years.

    MOVEE Partisans at the program

The MOVEE political leader publicly expressed his objection to militarizing the young members of political parties since it has the potential to destabilize the nation. He asserted that President Weah is a man of peace and will never support actions that threaten the country’s long-standing democracy and peace. The orange revolution’s mandate will be purposefully achieved, Mr. Kemayah informed the partisans, by engaging in negotiations with political parties that share his views.

In addition to praising the Rainbow Alliance’s interim chairman Reginald Goodridge for accepting his party’s withdrawal from the collaboration, Mr. Kemayah praised the Rainbow Alliance for the time it spent working with MOVEE. Members of MOVEE’s national executive committee, supporters, and sympathizers participated in a procession through Paynesville to kick off the program, which drew partisans from all over the nation.
