The absence of opportunity and investment in the private sector, according to Yeakeh Sayequeeh, a candidate for Montserrado County District #10 representative, is threatening the nation’s progress and development. He asserts that in order to provide employment opportunities for young people throughout the nation, the government and development partners must invest in the private sector. According to him, the lack of opportunities for young people in the nation is the driving force behind his campaign to advance the private sector. When the private sector is overburdened, he observed, this occurs.

He argued that young people should concentrate on projects for the nation’s development rather than its destruction. He mentions how the core social fabric of the country has been damaged by violence. At the same time, he encouraged the graduates to continue their studies by emphasizing that secondary school is just the beginning of their educational journey and that they need maintain a positive outlook in order to succeed. The District #10 candidate for representative also exhorted the graduates to realize their full potential and make the world a better place for the next generations.

Young people across the country, particularly those who have just graduated from high school, are being urged by the prospective Youthful Representative to pick a career path and follow through with their goals in order to become successful Leaders. Young people should choose a job path that will enable them to succeed as leaders in changing the national narrative, advises the district representative candidate. Meanwhile, he urges young people all around the nation to exercise intelligent judgment when casting their ballots in the upcoming general and presidential elections in 2023.

On Saturday, October 29, 2022, he spoke at the David Lombel Memorial Institute’s graduation ceremony in Montserrado County, District #10.
