LBA Officials to Attend FIBA Africa Congress in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.

Monrovia, Liberia – The FIBA Africa Congress is coming up in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, to officials of the Liberia Basketball Association (LBA) are expected to participate in te congress. The delegation is anticipated to return on Sunday, July 27, 2025, after leaving on Wednesday, July 23, 2025.

As the Head of Delegation, Mr. J. Emmanuel Potter will be in charge of the LBA delegation. The LBA’s Secretary General, Mr. Calvin Diggs, will accompany him and be a team member involved.

To discuss important issues influencing the growth and administration of the sport, the Congress brings together basketball leaders and stakeholders from all over the African continent. The event also provides an important platform for collaboration, strategic planning, and the strengthening of regional partnerships within the FIBA Africa framework.

The LBA remains committed to fostering the growth of basketball in Liberia and is confident that the insights and experiences gained at the Congress will positively impact the advancement of the game at both national and grassroots levels.
