Monrovia, Liberia – The Liberia Football Association, in partnership with the British Embassy Monrovia, has dedicated two newly renovated dressing rooms for girls at the Blue Field in the PHP Community to support the growth of women’s football in Liberia.

The project, funded by the British Embassy, aims to provide a safe and modern environment for female athletes, helping remove barriers that have limited girls’ participation in competitive football.
During the ceremony, British Head of Mission Simon Tooth highlighted the importance of supporting Liberian girls through sports, while LFA 3rd Vice President Jodie M. Reid-Seton described the initiative as a new chapter for women’s football in the country.

Youth and Sports Minister Cornelia W. Kruah also praised the partnership and encouraged continued support for Liberian sports development.

The renovated facilities include six modern showers, four toilets, and a running water system, creating a more dignified and comfortable space for female players to prepare and train.
