As the official kicks off date for the 2022 InterVarsity Football Championship moves closer, several Universities and Colleges are expected to gather at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium in Monrovia this Friday. The competition is the Liberia Football Association Inter Varsity Football championship.
According to the Chairperson on Academicals at the level of the Liberia Football Association, Murvee Gary, the gathering is intended to design plans for staging the new championship.
Mr. Gray named: University of Liberia, Stella Maries University, AME ZION University, African Methodist Episcopal University, Cuttington University, Blue Crest University, Starz University College, Smythe Institute of Management and Technology, and United Methodist University are some of the institutions that are expected to attend the meeting.
Stella Maries University won the last edition of the competition following a 2-0 victory over the University of Liberia in the grand final held at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium in Monrovia.
