LFA suspends three employees for administrative reasons

The Liberia Football Association (LFA) has suspended three employees for administrative reasons in relation to the 2022 FIFA women’s under-17 World Cup qualifier between Liberia and Guinea in Monrovia on March 6, 2022.

They include technical director Henry Browne, women’s football manager Francis Tamba and transfer matching system (TMS) manager Sebastian Collins.

The three employees’ suspension followed the recommendations of a committee, chaired by Vice President Sekou Konneh, which was set up during an executive committee meeting on March 7, 2022.

The committee established that there were missteps in the planning and engagement of players for the competition.

Browne was suspended for a month while Tamba and Collins were suspended for two weeks without pay respectively.
