Liberia Crusaders for Peace Executive Director Receives Prestigious Honor from NIH During U.S. Visit

During a recent visit to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Clinical Research Center in the United States, the Executive Director of the Liberia Crusaders for Peace, Ambassador Juli Endee, was honored with a prestigious gold coin. The honor was bestowed by Dr. Cliff Lane, Head of Allergy and Infectious Diseases at NIH, in recognition of the Executive Director’s commitment to public health and peacebuilding efforts in Liberia.

In addition to receiving this significant honor, discussions centered around the collaborative work of the Liberia Crusaders for Peace, the Partnership for Research on Ebola Virus in Liberia (PREVAIL), and NIH. These partnerships have been instrumental in advancing health research and public health initiatives in the region.

With excitement for the future, a follow-up meeting is scheduled for November with Dr. Lane, to further explore joint initiatives and strengthen cooperation between the institutions in ongoing efforts to improve the health system in Liberia.
