Rabat, Morocco – In the opening round of the 2024 Total Energies CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) qualifiers, Liberia’s senior women’s national team will play Cape Verde. The draw took place in Rabat, Morocco on Thursday, July 6, 2023. The initial round of qualifications will take place from September 18–26, 2023.
The winner of the two-legged fixture will progress to play against the winner of the match between Nigeria and São Tome in the second round, which is scheduled for November 27, 2023, to December 5, 2023.
Eleven (11) teams from the second round will advance to the main competition to compete alongside the host Morocco.
