Monrovia, Liberia – The International Association of Fire Chiefs’ (IAFC) Strategic Director for National and Global Programs, Mr. Jeff Dulin, has been thanked by the Liberia National Fire Service (LNFS) for organizing a series of hands-on training sessions that improved the firefighters’ operational capabilities.
Along with other senior officers and frontline firemen, Hon. Edwin Tisdell, the Deputy Director for Operations, participated in the rigorous training course. Hon. Tisdell emphasized that the meetings were not only seamless but also useful, yielding significant outcomes, and he called the experience eye-opening and profound.
“The Liberia National Fire Service will continue to advance with new vigor, purpose, and speed thanks to the information, tactics, and insights acquired from this training, according to Hon. Tisdell. As a participant, I can attest that these seminars were both relevant and essential to our institution’s development.”
Under the direction of Mr. Dulin, the curriculum focused on cutting-edge methods to crisis management, emergency response coordination, and contemporary firefighting techniques by combining classroom education with practical exercises. His knowledge gave participants fresh strategies to address Liberia’s escalating fire safety issues.
The leadership of the LNFS also expressed gratitude to the US for its ongoing support in enhancing Liberia’s emergency response services’ capabilities.
According to a statement from the LNFS, “this initiative highlights the value of international cooperation in strengthening our national institutions. We thank America, and Mr. Dulin, have a safe flight home.”
