Monrovia, Liberia – Liberia is developing in technology, according to the founder and executive director of the Monrovia Technology Summit. According to Mr. Peterking Quaye, the rise in the quantity of technology transactions in the nation via digital channels provides a more convincing illustration of how far the nation has come.
Speaking on Tuesday, March 8, 2023, during an OK FM’s Private Sector Hour, a local radion station in Liberia, Mr. Quaye urged Liberians to participate in the upcoming Monrovia Technology Conference, which will be held from March 29 to March 31, 2023, with the theme: “Our Digital Future.”
He acknowledged that there will be 20 sessions and 30 distinct local and foreign speakers at the summit.
At the same time, Mr. Quaye urged students, the general public, and local groups including political groups to participate in the process, noting that applications have already been received from Sierra Leone, Gambia, Ghana, and Nigeria, among other nations.
According to him, Liberia has some excellent IT professionals who have accepted their invitation as facilitators. ‘We will once more be recognizing several companies that have excelled in Technology over the years,’ he continued.
