Paynesville, Liberia – The Liberia Wushu Association has extended its warmest congratulations to the Government and people of the People’s Republic of China on the joyous occasion of the Chinese New Year celebration. As China ushers in a new year filled with hope, renewal, and prosperity, the Association joins millions around the world in celebrating this historic and culturally significant festival.
The Chinese New Year symbolizes unity, peace, progress, and new beginnings—values that strongly resonate within the global Wushu family.
Speaking on behalf of the Association, Master Junior Pewee Russian, Grand Master and founder of Shaolin Kung Fu (WUSHU) in Liberia, recognized and valued the long-standing friendship and collaboration between China and Liberia, especially in the advancement of Wushu and cultural exchange.
Master Russian noted that sportsmen and organizations around the world, including those in Liberia, are still motivated by China’s rich cultural legacy and global leadership in martial arts. He wished the People’s Republic of China more peace, prosperity, and even more accomplishments in the upcoming year on behalf of the Liberia Wushu Association’s athletes, leadership, and members.
