Liberian Journalist Bags Two International Certificates

Algiers, Algeria – In a short time, a Liberian journalist who is passionate about reporting real African business and development stories has earned two international certificates.

After returning from an international coverage assignment in London, journalist Anthony Williams of the Liberian Broadcasting System traveled to Algiers, Algeria, to cover the 4th Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF2025). There, he was awarded an African Media Award for his storytelling and a certificate for his participation in the intra-African trade.

Journalist Anthony said, the IATF team’s direct contact provided the chance, serving as a humble reminder that hard work communicates even when one is unaware of the audience. “I am deeply grateful to the sponsors for the trust as well as to my wonderful friend and professional colleague who recommended me.”

To embrace the chance, he did, however, thank the Liberia Broadcasting System (LBS) and Reports231 Media Network for their support.
