Liberia Abigail Karyah Win West Africa Best Female Chess Player

Monrovia, Liberia – Former Liberian female Chess Champion Abigail Karyah pulled a massive win over Nigeria’s Bridget Michael at the 2024 West African Zone 4.2 Chess Championship.

There are separate sessions for men and women competing in Marshial City, Margibi County, Liberia. The most talked-about competition in Africa began on Saturday, May 11, 2024, and expected to end on May 18, 2024.

With two victories in three games, the youngster is now more likely to place in the top two.

With a rating of 1945, Bridget Michael is now the top female chess player in West Africa, while Abigail Karyah is rated 1770.
